Second round of EMPIRE Slovak Open 2017 qualifying singles was played in Trnava on Sunday. Laura Svatikova of Slovakia surprisingly moved to the qualies finals when her opponent Hradecka pulled out injured.
First day of EMPIRE Slovak Open 2017, biggest women's tennis event organized in Slovakia, brought very quick first round qualifying matches. Match between Jamrichova and Pantuckova lasted only 40 minutes with Jamrichova winning easily. The silver medallist from the London Olympics Czech Lucie Hradecka defeated young Slovak player Morvayova.
Women’s EMPIRE Slovak Open being held in May 2017 will be again the biggest women's tennis event organized in Slovakia. From season 2013 it’s an official International Slovak tennis Championships played outdoors. This tournament is played for 9th time at EMPIRE Tennis club on number 11, Hajdoczyho street in Trnava.
